Re: Arundel Castle Jaguar Day - Sunday 4th August

I think it might have been £8 cash, per person on the gate last year, which has gone up to £10 this year. I could go and ask at the castle, next weekend to confirm if it's on should we still have any doubts. Thank you, kind sir. No worries if you can't... we'll probably come down anyway to visit Ar...

Re: Arundel Castle Jaguar Day - Sunday 4th August

JEC website no longer lists this event.
Is it still happening on Aug 4th?

I can't remember from last year about tickets/entry, and I wanted to double-check just now.

I'm not a JEC member, but was able to park up with fellow F-Typers last year.

My daughter used to think I looked like Timothy Dalton. Don't know if that was a good thing or not. But I've got the numbers on the car now too, so maybe I thought it was 🤣
Nice.

Did it make you a hit with the ladies?
Maybe you shouldn't answer that! ;)

Re: What does your forum name mean?

Thanks all for replying... couple of common themes going on. Basher, Was good to meet the two of you today. Likewise mines definitely not rock and roll, rearrange the letters of a name relative to how I came to justify the impractical purchase of an F Type. Our off spring are nearly self sufficient ...

What does your forum name mean?

A few people wonder why I'm called basher. It's nothing sinister or violent. Honest. :o It's a school nickname... I used to play the drums. For about 10 years, it was how I made my living. Just . In fact, to keep the wolf from the door, and to pay the mortgage, I taught drums while my band tried to ...

Re: Beaulieu Simply Jaguar event

Great to meet you too Rob. Also met Mantot3, Fez and Glaf for the first time. 😁 Didn't take many pics... too busy chatting to new friends, and "old" ones I've met before at these events... but here are a few... And congrats to Alasdair for getting runner up prize for best jag. Well deserved! IMG_201...
