Hi All
Got the beast out for a good wash & makeover after a couple of months. Ready to start the 2020 weekend drives now. Is anyone going to the Breakfast club this coming Saturday. Would be great to see some old & new faces alike!

Re: How many SVRs are there.
I bought mine as a demo with 2k miles. Not a single issue 4k miles later...actually the only car I’ve ever owned with zero issues so far! Hard to say how hard they are driven as demos but 1) dealer employees can’t afford to get speeding tickets and 2) the ability to take any ftype on a test drive on...

Re: How many SVRs are there.
Hi Misui Thanks for the comments. Before getting the SVR I was not a fan of red cars but I have to say with the black contrasting parts and satin wheels I fell in love with mine at first sight. It’s a stunner and gets a lot of attention. People often think it’s a Ferrari or some other exotic. I had ...

Now my other car’s a Jag!
Hi folks Just got this XJL 3.0D Portfolio as my daily driver (as my SVR is a long term weekend only keeper!) so now I can drive the leaper badge all the time. 8-) Apart from having the badge and the infotainment system in common I was astounded to find out that the Torque this beast puts down from t...

Big Jaguar Weekend Ahead!
Hi folks Lots of Jaguar stuff going on in the coming days......Just checking if anyone is going to the Jaguar breakfast club at the Heritage Works this weekend? If so is anyone up for the usual convoy over to Caffiene & Machine afterwards? Also looking forward to Sunday’s “Jags at the Castle bei...

Pirelli vs Michelin
There have been quite some posts over time where people seem to be favouring Michelin over the recommended Pirelli’s when getting new tyres. What I’m missing is the alleged difference between the two? Can anyone quantify based on experience... is it cost, performance, wear etc?
Thanks
Steve
Thanks

Re: Calipers Cleaned
Hi Darren
What make of jack/supports do you have & is it reliable? Same question for torque wrench..... just need some good quality tools before I risk getting my alloys off!

Nope - that’s an £8K optional extra....you can get a lot of other more useful stuff instead for that money!
