Service Schedule Items

So I thought I would work through all the service schedules and make a table of what gets changed when. Although I logged in with my 2014 RWD V6 VIN the schedules appear to cover all engine versions. There is no specific mention of AWD variants, but they could be covered under the general transmissi...

Drive Coupling

So when my car had its last service, at the end of February, I pushed for any warranty or Technical Bulletin issues I could claim for too. It was a major service and spark plug replacement - all being done for £0 cost as a gesture of goodwill, so saved me a good few hundred pounds at main dealer rat...

Re: Keep losing dynamic and sports modes!

. I used to get that with my XE - which coincidentally also had issues with stop/start not working. It wasn't that I wanted it to work - more that it damn well should do. I don't recall what fixed it - it may have been the battery voltage monitoring software - I don't think they changed the battery ...

Re: Supercharger drive coupler rattle.

.
Interesting link - at what sort of mileage are you experiencing that issue?

I've also not heard of changing the supercharger oil before - is that something you would do at the same time?

Anyone else any experience on this?

Re: Will the F Type still be in production come end of September

I think it somewhat depends on if you want to appeal to age or money. BMW was a premium brand but now their cars are common as muck and many people can afford one - maybe moving up from a Mini. As such no one gives a second look to all the black boxes on the roads now - especially as there are a rid...

Yeah it does that sometimes - even if they've already set up a quote for you. Just give them a call and they'll sort it - renewed mine a couple of weeks ago. All very easy and friendly... Re: Glass/Plastic Wind Deflector

Few videos online show that a solid deflector actually causes more turbulence than the OEM one - it’s mesh for a reason as it allows the air to pass through it rather than hit it . Yes indeed - that's why it's also recommended to wash it in soapy water from time to time when the pollen and grit in ...

Re: New Owner - V6 S AWD

Welcome! Looking very nice in Stratus Grey - very shiny too 8-) Paintwork always looks good under fluorescent lighting - remember my Bluefire metallic XE used to really pop then. No worries in the looks dept. from parking next to that Aston either - the Alfa in the background gives more of a run for...

Re: Carbon dash

A lot of people on the Mustang forum I frequent use dipping on their new generation cars - looks good and so much cheaper. Get yourself a set of plastic trim removal tools and it’s really easy to prise them off. https://www.halfords.com/tools/fuses-electricals-and-fixings/fixings/halfords-assorted-p...
