Re: Kerbed alloys... the wheel specialists... any good?

A wheel repair guy botched a small 2” rash on my car. He wound up refinishing the entire wheel. It looked too bright and the metallic seemed to have too many flakes in it. It’s been over a year and it seems to have weathered in and the slight orange peel flattened out over time. In addition it yello...

Re: Configurable Dynamic Mode

If I had that option, I’d keep steering and suspension at normal.

Re: Question for owner with a v6 base with active exhaust

I have the button, but all this does is override the ordinary non switchable operation. Just been out for a play with it. So, ignoring the button. In normal mode, the active exhaust is open on startup and then closes. The exhaust will then open/close in normal mode around 4000 rpm. Switching to dyn...

Re: Few queries about used F-Type

As for the seat bolsters, there's a fellow here that provides a DIY solution. He will colour match a solution according to your interior colour code and name. Just dab it on; it take a couple applications. I had the same issue and it came out well. I'm pretty sure he can ship internationally. https:...

Re: F type and German sheps

Aside from shedding, did Shep leave any marks on the upholstery? Did she ride well in the car? I think the previous owner of my car must have had a small yap dog that skittered all over the place. There was a torn gouge on the upper door panel and some marks on the seats which I had to repair. If I ...

Re: Options and re sale value

My car originally belonged to an older fellow who died and passed it to his daughter. If I do say, its pretty nicely spec'd out but she either didn't know or care or both. The dealer (independent) really didn't know much either. Its a 2014 V6S, was $92K US and I got it for $48. At the time I bought ...

"Battery Low, Please Start Engine"

I got this warning message about a week after getting the car. Took it the dealer and they replaced the battery. The service invoice says "19144 unable to verify concern, referred to sdd for any dtc's on vehicle referring to concern. no codes at this time. followed and performed service vbullet...

Re: Getting in and getting out!

This is how I do it: one foot into the floor, one hand on the wheel. Holding the wheel helps me ease into the car without rubbing the bolsters. Getting out, I do move the seat back, one foot out, grab the wheel and pull myself out. Hasn't broken yet. I've been grabbing the wheel to get in and out of...
