Re: Drive Coupling

Left overnight to cure, I though Araldite cured almost immediately. Thought it was only TVRs that were held together by Araldite🤔

Re: Will the F Type still be in production come end of September

Something like an EV E-Pace could replace HWMBO's M135i. Doesn't do massive mileage a 400 range would be fine. My only issue is that our UK cars sit in a heated garage in Carcoons over the winter for up to 5 months. Battery conditioners are fine for this but cannot imagine how an EV cars battery wou...

I would like to have seen an EV E-Pace. It's the only other car in the JLR range that would appeal.
The I-Pace is just too big for me.

Re: Extended warranty looking like it's worth its weight...

I agree, my F Type just makes me smile every time I drive her or just look at her, I forgive anything she may throw at me... well almost 😄
Mine already has a new diff, but I can't help myself listening for any strange noise from that area☹️

Re: Will the F Type still be in production come end of September

In regard to the F Pace, it just felt cheap and trim creaked a lot inside and the drive just didn't inspire me, I never tried any of the tecky stuff. Not sure why but if I was in the market for a SUV, I wouldn't be looking at the F Pace. My F Type blows me away everytime I look at it, I feel it feel...

Re: Will the F Type still be in production come end of September

I had a new XF sportbrake as a courtesy car whilst my F Type was being serviced. I am afraid it felt like a dinasour in comparison to a BMW 5 series estate or other German equivalents I have been in or driven.
Last year I had the F Pace and again it felt antiquated, not good for JLR.

Re: Extended warranty looking like it's worth its weight...

I've got two more days to make up my mind, too. Decisions, decisions .... Based on my experiences...no-brainer for me! But I appreciate it's a bit of an outlay Would always be my choice on JLR products and my Porsche, maybe not on the wife's BMW but that's only £260 for a fairly comprehensive cover...

Re: 48month service costs

Ah! On my check sheet it does say brake fluid checked.
Maybe they have tested it!
I will call them and ask.

Re: 48month service costs

I went on to the jaguar.co.uk website to check my car’s service history had been updated and noticed a tab where you can Print/download the service sheets for up to year 10. These show what service items need completing each year. With an AWD Over the 10 year life there’s a lot of transmission oil ...
