Have to say for the price the Halfords covers are excellent.

Re: Service Booking via Jaguar vs Dealer

Exactly same with me - can get service online for £293 (actually £250 but there is a charge for taking the payment even with a 12 month option)

same service directly with dealer is over £450 - Know what i'll be doing.

Re: rear diffuser

The plastic weld has come loose / failed on a small section of my rear diffuser - right next to wear the diffuser meets the bottom of rear nearside wheel arch. Does anyone know if you can source the plastic glue that is used to stick the diffuser to the car body? assuming it is plastic glue?

Re: F Type SVR Spoiler Carbon Fibre Issue

Just an update on this - now the weather has improved i've used an hair dryer on the area covered with blotches - only used for about 5 minutes and the blotches have virtually gone.

So seems it is condensation that gets beneath the lacquer coat.

Re: F Type SVR Spoiler Carbon Fibre Issue

Update - reading a few other car forums this seems a common issue with CF - I picked up one or two tricks one being doust the CF in WD40 or GT85 and leave to soak. Done that and it seems slowly to be working - bearing in mind it's freezing outside ATM. So hopefully a few attempts and then a hot air ...

Re: F Type SVR Spoiler Carbon Fibre Issue

Had a 1\4 socket set and won't fit in - for some reason my spoiler doesn't raise as high as yours in the up position and i'm reticent to force it up any higher. So I think options are 1. Wait till warmer weather and use hair dryer outside in situ see if it improves the look / repairs 2. Have the spo...

Re: F Type SVR Spoiler Carbon Fibre Issue

Got it - with the spoiler raised you can see the 4 bolts - apologies but what tool did you use as I have raised my spoiler to the up position and the gap is not as large as the ne you have with limited access or is there a way to tilt the spoiler further?
