Re: Made to order car mats

I used CarmatsUK phone 01623 645100. They were brilliant for customised floor and boot mats. Beware Jaguar moved the fastnening "pegs" on the floor in 2016 so my ones came with the previous holes cut. Carmats sent out replacement FOC which fit perfectly. Might be worth calling them to chec...

Re: Puddle lights logo

Got a pair for Christmas and got round to fitting them today. Really easy and straightforward plus look great when on. Just need to keep driving around in the dark looking for puddles now!

Re: Return to porsche

Interestingly I have done the opposite. I owned a 987 Spyder for 3 years before swapping it this summer for F Type SVR. The Porsche was great and I really enjoyed driving it but am so pleased I moved it on for the Jag. Having said that, the Porsche is one of the few cars I have owned where I made mo...

Re: SVR Coupe strange boot straps - can anybody help please?

If they have then you are not missing much! They get in the way in the original position and seem a bit OTT just for storing a brolly!

Re: SVR Coupe strange boot straps - can anybody help please?

Many thanks for your speedy response. Yes they are the ones. Really annoying where they are positioned on the SVR coupe. How did you remove them from the original position because on mine they are riveted in place so removing them will damage the boot floor. Your idea is much better!

New SVR owner joining

Hi to everybody. I recently purchased an Ultra Blue SVR 2016 model. The car was an ex demonstrator with 2500 miles covered. 1 week later it now totals 5500 miles! The additional mileage was from a 7 day drive from UK to Portugal via Germany (Autobahns!), France, Andorra, Spain to southern Portugal. ...

SVR Coupe strange boot straps - can anybody help please?

Dear All, New to the forum so first post. I have recently purchased an Ultra Blue SVR (2016 model). At the rear of the coupe boot, riveted into the floor panel, are 2 thick leather straps with velcro fastening. Can anybody shed any light on what they are for. I am not referring to the chrome luggage...
