Re: White residue/powder on supercharger and engine block?

The XE forum has it's "Faults and technical" section sub devided into things like "Engine and drivetrain" , "electronics" and various other things. Whilst most people manage to find the right one some still just chuck it in the main topic. You can do a lot of things to try and make it easier to find...

Re: Sat nav off line

Are you on the Incontrol Pro and not the new Pissi Pro thing?
If you are check your incontrol account has the new car.
Also remember to add the car to the "Here" site where your nav upodates come from.
That can take 24hrs and I recall difficulties signing in until that was up and running.

Re: Ambient Lighting

Yep, this confuses a lot of people when it's really just marketing speak.
As above, the word is "configurable" as in you can change the colours.
Mind you Aussie specs can be different but "mood lighting" and "ambient lighting" are just terms for the normal interior lighting.

Perhaps we’ll continue the technical discussion privately and will come back with an answer to whether or not the wing mirrors are controlled via CAN bus or LIN. This is to inform those who have the Ghost-II Immobiliser fitted.

Is that ok with you?
Yes that would be fine.

Re: F Type stolen - owners beware review your security

I have removed the last post due to detailed and technical information being posted. Of course countering theft is very important but there is also the consideration that detailed technical info could actually compromise security when posted on an open and public forum. Please feel free to continue ...

Tried to write a post on Consumer Rights that either I hit the wrong button or a mod thought wasn’t allowed?
I think you must have hit the wrong button.
If I moderate a post I'll tell you why.

Digging up the dead - Very old topics.

Over the last few days I have seen several threads being resurrected that are 4 or 5 years old. These threads were not particularly important so why is this being done ? If you have brand new info that could change people's lives then it's not a problem. Digging up very old posts for posting's sake ...
