Hi,
I'm sure debated to death but I'm hoping to get opinions on best tyre for the fronts on a V6S coupe.
I'm deciding between Pirelli P-Zero, Goodyear Eagle F1 and Michelin PS4.
Also, best prices on these tyres people have seen?
Thanks!

Re: Ceramic coating advice?
Most definitely worth the money if it is cosmetic effect rather than true protection you want.
The paintwork feels like glass to the touch and much easier to wash.

Snow foam/lance
I have a Karcher K2 compact pressure washer which can be used with the detergent input feature to get a foamy spray in addition to plain water. A few questions for those who have tried the same/similar setups: 1. Is it worth getting a snow lance to get proper snow foam vs just soapy water? 2. If &qu...

Re: opinions on extended warranty
Thanks for the thoughts.
I know DAE are highly regarded as performance upgrade specialists but are there any specialist Jaguar/F-Type garages near London for routine service requirements?

Re: opinions on extended warranty
Bringing to life this thread just to see whether opinions have changed. I am about to come to the end of term on the 3 years' manufacturers' warranty. Given the appalling service/competence of my local JLR dealer, I can't help but think I would be better off abandoning manufacturer warranty/service ...

Re: V6S Brake Disc Issues
Thanks all for the further, helpful replies. The level of proactivity is severely lacking but not surprising given repairs under warranty only eat further into low margins per vehicle. I'm not sure what the standard or minimum thickness is of brake discs but the point is surely that any erosion at t...

Re: V6S Brake Disc Issues
Thanks to all those who provided perspectives on the topic. Irrespective of the cause, I would be keen to know how those with repaired/replaced discs managed to do so under warranty. My brake disc issue has got escalated to JLR who requested tests and photographs of the discs from the dealership. Th...

Re: V6S Brake Disc Issues
Thanks cj10jeeper, although sounds like a slightly different issue?
Did they fix the disc itself or the suspension member (?) impacted by the disc?

Re: V6S Brake Disc Issues
Mileage is 23K.
Front pads are at 10mm, new would be 13mm, so barely 25% worn.
They are quoting c. £200 for de-glazing the rear discs and c. £900 for replacing the front discs.
Not sure what other information would be required to ascertain whether this is a warranty repair/replace?
