I think that's a new one!

Presume a bad earth somewhere. Auto electrician? Or dealer?

Re: F Type No Longer Available to Order

OTOH, not having a Jaguar V6 or V8 would be huge loss, IMO - if I wanted a BMW V8 turbo I think I'd kill myself! :D From looking at the system and the mules in the UK the engine line looks to be. P300 4cyl inline turbo 2.0 Ingem engine. 300ps P360 6cyl inline turbo 3. 0 Ingem engine. 360ps P400 6cy...

Re: Engine/transmission amber light

If the IML is amber and lit then it should be ok to drive as long as there are no abnormal noises. I had it come on a few months back and new O2 sensors were required. I drove mine for a few days with no issues. If constantly flashing, red light or strange noises or difficulty starting then don't dr...

I like the grey Matt colour with the black. Looks good.

I don't like the yellow trim around the splitter or sides and definitely not the stripe.

Re: Spec lookup function

Hi All, As most of the regulars on here are aware, I have the ability to convert a UK Jaguar reg plate into a VIN number to allow potential buyers to get the service history and TopiX information for a vehicle without having to visit the car or ask the seller for the VIN. I do this to help potential...

Thanks everso for the reply, I can’t reply to your message, it doesn’t give me any options. Any ideas?
Got your PM and reg. When you send a PM it stays in your outbox until the recipient reads it.
Will check and reply tomorrow AM.

Hi, Would it be possible to lookup the spec of a car for me please? Many thanks in advance :)
Sure, I've sent you a PM which you can reply too. (As you can't create a new private message until you've done at least 5 posts).
Send me the reg and I'll look tomorrow. Cheers

Re: Post purchase infotainment upgrade?

Yes you can get the updates for free. MY18 cars originally shipped with software 18C. Since then we have had 19A1 to 19A4 and we have just moved onto 19B. A full list of updates is here - https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=3279&start=30#p36359 If your dealer still wants to charge the...

Re: This is not right.

I am personally more worried about large online selling sites such as autotrader allowing individuals to sell cars as HPI clear and no previous damaged etc when actually they are written off cars. Yes but at least you can do a HPI check on a vehicle. Remember one of my old bosses. When he got a new...

Re: This is not right.

From a quick Google. It is illegal to sell a car that has been clocked but it is not illegal to sell a clocking device or change the mileage on a car. There was a proposal to make it illegal in May 2018 but it hasn't come into force yet. Reported it as well anyway but don't expect eBay to do anythin...
