Re: 310 mile 2016 Firesand SVR

The advertised one has done 456 miles, not the 599 noted above. THought he got the one that was noted at 310 miles, there were two 65 plates firesand SVR's selling at same time, one with 310 miles, other with 599 miles. So the one I linked to is maybe the 310 mile example, but of course nearly coup...

Did you hand the car back?

Seems same car is for sale again, or when with near identical miles, also a 65 plate and also a bargain of a price. :)

Re: Is the F-Type a great racer?

In my SVR I recorded a 0-60 of 3.08s to 60mph in damp conditions at a Vmax200, so it goes not so bad. Never had any car beat me on a 0-100 run yet, apart from a 911 Turbo S, he beat me once and I beat him on the next go. Also ran a PB of 11.28@124mph in my SVR at Santa Pod so its going well. As a ca...

Re: Major failure - advice

Definetely an extreme failure, blue/white smoke is certainly an engine failure of sorts, especially the fact you say loud bang suggest the engine dropped a piston/cylinder and the resulting white/blue smoke was piston blow by on an extreme level. As its a matter of weeks into ownership, simply expre...

Re: 310 mile 2016 Firesand SVR

75k for that car was a bargain of the century! Enjoy it, you could probably sell it for 85k quite easily as firesand and ultra blue are the most desirable colours on the SVR, particular with all the carbon options ticked. :)

Re: The F-Type Hypermiling Challenge!

Hi there I've achieved 35-36mpg in my SVR on a long run, not particular trying but left the car in D and dynamic, was a long trip, mainly motorways and flowing A roads. I think its about the best I can get, maybe 37mpg if really tried but most long runs are typically 32mpg area with traffic. Shorter...

Re: Gutted, Caldera SVR, or am I OCD??

The one that I think mistakenly says it's a 2017/67 reg? If so yes but I'm hoping to get a 2018MY hence moving for the updated models... That's the one but dvla does confirm it was registered Nov 17 so not sure why the 65 plate? Yeah its all very odd with that car, its a dream spec as well having t...
