Thanks for the advice guys. The sat nav is still showing the local area, just not where I happen to be. For example when I am on the M3 it shows me on a different local road. It may be a connection problem rather than a new antenna. Thanks for the offer of the update James.

I use the same independent as scm based on his recommendation. I have found them to be every bit as good as he says and I take my F type and the wife’s E pace there. I had similar experiences with my local JLR dealer to those described here and it is so much better with the independent.

You could try cccharger.co.uk. They sell a kit that allows you open the exhaust valves whenever you want with a small remote control. Try their website or eBay.
