Re: SVR Spoiler retrofit... high speed profile

Has anybody here fitted the SVR spoiler to their non-SVR car? I've heard that on the SVR, for a high speed run, you can hold the spoiler button and it'll stop it raising at speed. Is this possible for the retrofit too, or does the SVR have different software that allows this? Also if anybody has a ...

But does the SVR have a different front chin / lip spoiler to balance out the aero?
Yeah I’d be fitting a front splitter to help with that; I hate a light front end :-D

Re: Jaguar approved tyres, J marking

Much better to have the same tyre all-round... you wouldn't mix your shoes. Could create huge handling imbalance. Only if you drive on or near the limit of the tyres, "normal" driving shouldn't expose any imbalance between different makes of decent tyres. Obviously don't mix them on the s...

Why on the front only? Seems to be a theme on here. Much better to have the same tyre all-round... you wouldn't mix your shoes. Could create huge handling imbalance.

Re: Jaguar approved tyres, J marking

I'm buying used from a dealer and haven't checked out the J rating on its tyres, but I will do thanks to this thread. Also, there is a difference between OE and standard tyres. I used to think it's a gimmick but at the end of the day, I can imagine Porsche engineering certain amounts of understeer i...

Re: PB big brake kit fitted to my 400 Sport

Just priced this up. Looks incredible but I managed to take it to £4k. If only somebody was selling there car and wanted to revert it back to standard before shifting their brakes separately...
