Re: Fuel supplements (for injectors)
Nothing but Tesco Finest Cat Food for PussCat! (sigh  ) I noticed yesterday that Redex is half price in Tesco. I usually give her a dose once or twice a year. It's like remembering to worm the cat. I don't recall many injector problems reported in this forum (mainly UK/EU). Correct me if I'm w...

I feel for you Basher, there are some nice open bits on the A3.
I also feel somewhat disillusioned by the scale of payment for results that simpleR presents. It's not supposed to work like that. But hey-ho.

Re: Flat battery after service
It's good to see you're sorted. In view of the title of the thread, it's probably worth me warning readers why they should look out for flattening batteries after services. Over the years, there have been several threads about batteries going flat in the days after a service. The same can be found o...

Re: Karcher K2 pressure washer problem
Sorry to see it was unfixable, though I do see there are various K2 pumps on the bay. My K2 started springing water from inside last year. Once I got inside (long thin star or torx required), I found it was the pump outlet elbow, which was leaking. I repaired the leak with epoxy, but the £5 'bay' re...

New entrant in his "S" badged V6 is Lunar - with a stunning 43.7 miles per imperial gallon. See page one for leaderboard.
Still waiting for and entrant from a 4 pot driver (should blow everyone else outa the water).

Re: Twitchy Back End
To put Mich PS4S tyres on 19" wheels requires a slight compromise in tyre sizes.
So I replaced my P zeros with Mich PS4 tyres (not the esses).
Well happy. But they still require a lot of care when the yellow snowflake is showing on the dash. Especially if it is mildly moist, or moister.

Re: Puddle Lights Remain On
Do you know that the fridge light goes off when you close the door, or do you just have faith that it does? If you open and close one car door, you can see the opposite door's puddle light shining on the sill, when you look through the window. When you lock the doors, the puddles dim and go out over...

Re: Abnormal Load.
I had the cubby hole cover on (that space was empty) and a board to spread the weight a bit.
I took things gently and imagine that driving fast over speed bumps with such a heavy load might cause boot panels to buckle.

Abnormal Load.
Seeing as PussCat is my Daily Driver (and only car), I took her to B&Q this morning to carry 200kg of granite gravelly stuff for my drive. 7 bags fitted in the boot (on a liner) and the 8th sat next to me, on some newspaper. Apart from some odd looks while loading, I had no problems at all. Need...
