Re: F type issues (advice please)

I am in Essex 👍

And the diff feels loose slight jerking as well when in cruse controll and power comes on and off.

Knocking is noticeably worse at low speed turning sharply.

F type issues (advice please)

Hello all, I am having some issues with my 2014 V6 S (p380) F Type convertible. Primary is air leak on both banks before map sensor (intake air leak) Secondary is a differential that is making a knocking noise. (new diff circa £1200) I could do with the address of an independent Jag specialist that ...

Re: Good Will ???

Can anyone help with what is a "good will" gesture from Jaguar? To explain, I recently had some work done under warranty but the dealer has advised that Jaguar have rejected the warranty claim (saying it was not covered) and now the dealer would like my V5 so they can put it through as go...

Re: Engine Failure

O.P I am sorry to hear about you issue. I recently had a major issue that was due to bad design. I had to email the CEO of jag to express my deep disappointment 3 times until I got a resolution. My thoughts are that if the engine has been serviced regularly by jaguar and inside the specified mileage...

Re: Dealer Damage

Out of interest, which Harwoods service centre was it? I use the one in Selsdon Road, South Croydon and I can't fault them. Crawley they have been very understanding. I am a realist and given the extensive work and the amount of time it spent in the workshop I did not expect it to come out unscathe...

Re: Major failure - advice

P.S..... OP regardless of the dealer “warranty limit” (4K) the dealer is responsible for the full cost of the repair within 12 weeks or more under UK consumer law. The fact that they chose the incorrect level of cover is not your fault. Glad you got it sorted. I likewise had to complain at the highe...

Re: Major failure - advice

I am if the opinion that the oil circulation ducts are too small and they are getting clogged..... I believe that this is compound / not helped by there being no sump plug (the oil is sucked out) inevitably leaving sludge behind to block tubes. Oil is the life blood of an Engine and if it is not cir...
