Re: Exterior Detail and Ceramic Coating ?
I had ppf all over the front and ceramic on the rest. 5 years ago. The ppf is still great, easier to clean than the rest of the car, I wish I'd had the whole car ppf'd.

It's on the Meridian surround high power system. I dynamatted and soundproofed the doors and upgraded the door speakers as well as the centre speaker. It sounds great faded forwards and stereo only.

Re: New Member from Somerset
Personally I wouldn't bother adding a centre speaker even if the system can be made to drive it. Even an upgraded speaker on mine sounds coloured and spoils the sound quality, so I use just the stereo setting rather than surround.

I still use string dangling from the garage ceiling as a stop guide. The lasers look like a good tidy method.

Re: Finally a nice weekend to get the wash kit out.
As mine is my daily, I don't bother cleaning it unless there's a dry forecast for a few days. Whichever road I use round here, there is farmer's mud or builder's dust. I prefer the buttons. An old ipod in the armrest box works well, the steering wheel buttons control it OK. Road tax is nasty for my MY16, £695 this year and it doesn't look like it will ever drop.

When you do venture out in the UK, you don't look ahead for hazards, you watch the road surface just in front of you.

Yes, those buttons. Quick press up should work, like the down button does.

Re: Jaguar Technical Bulletin
I don't know about the sticky buttons. But I found an old hairdryer I'd forgotten for years and the rubbery handle inserts had gone sticky. I used meths on a rag to rub it a few times which removed the stickiness. Seems OK so far. Maybe the same method would work on your buttons?

Re: Interesting News Article…
I'm surprised pressing and holding the start button doesn't stop any car, except diesels?
