Re: V6 18” Replacement Tyres
Yeah I was disappointed on the Michelin's as everybody raves about them. However, have to say I've had no major complaints with the Continentals even in the wet. I ordered mine from Oponeo.co.uk as they seem to be cheaper than BlackCircles.com. Some websites don't seem to show the Premium Contact 6 ...

Re: V6 18” Replacement Tyres
Coincidental timing of your message as just yesterday I ordered new tyres. I couldn’t make up my mind and was just going to stick with the matching Continental Sport Contact 2, but finally went with the Premium Contact 6. I’m only changing the front at the moment as rears have a bit of life left in ...

V6 18” Replacement Tyres
I have read plenty of posts on here on tyres - most relate to how bad the Pirelli’s are. However, the V6 on 18 inch alloys comes with Continental Sport Contact 2’s as standard/recommended. I am in need of some new tyres and the obvious choice, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, don’t come in F-Type 18” sizes ...

Re: ECU Remap/Tuning on V6
That all seems a bit OTT for a little extra. You could save your money and ECU remap potential issues and just change your upper sc pulley. More torques, more HP's - Sorted. As far as I am aware the Power & Torque figures are approximately as per the below (some do claim even higher on the BHP ...

ECU Remap/Tuning on V6
I know the search kicks up quite a few topics on this from over the years (which I have reviewed), but what seems to be missing is feedback from those who have gone ahead with it. Firstly, given the V6, V6-S & now the 400 Sport all share the same engine am I naive in thinking that means an ECU R...

Re: Everyday F Type Photo thread
Hadn't really given it much thought, but I guess would tidy up the rear end and give it some symmetry. Everybody recognises that sexy bottom anyway

Re: Good Will ???
I am currently discussing this exact issue with the Dealership that I purchased my car from as I noticed a few days after picking the car up that the windows had deep scratches. If the Dealership had been more local I would have taken the car back. Mine is a Jaguar Approved Used just over 3 years ol...

Re: Is the F-Type a great racer?
Well, considering you can only go 100kph in New Zealand (and they police speed like no other thing here...), and the roads are generally crap... not doing too much racing in my cat. That said, lots of twisty roads going through canyons and mountain gorges where you get the exhaust echo off the rock...
