Re: F type Ceramic Brakes - Owner Experiences
Well, my car has the ceramic pack. I only got this, as I bought the car used, and the option effectively did not cost me much (depreciation and all). I would not have splurged for this as an option new (only because it is so expensive). That said, I have had absolutely no issues. Good performance an...

Re: Suedecloth Steering Wheel
I love mine. Feels good in the hand and gives decent grip (and does not burn the begeezus out of your hand on a hot summer day). You need to be a bit more diligent in cleaning, but to be honest, if you keep it a regular thing... it only takes a few minutes to keep it looking great.

Re: Great 7 months, bed time!
I guess that is the benefit of living in the Bay of Plenty (NZ North Island)... year round driving. My poor dad on the other hand... he's back in Calgary, Alberta and he's just had to put his Mercedes 560 SL away for the next 7 months (it started snowing back home already, and you won't be driving a...

Wow, nice! And good work getting the protective wrap and finish done in advance. Will keep her looking new for some time to come, eh! Wish I could have gotten my beastie from new... trying to right all of the paint and finish niggles now after the fact is a pain... but I still love her!

Re: Hello to all from Brisbane
Welcome! And yes, nice cat there I am now noticing a few more F-Types in NZ (I think I've seen 4 or 5 others now), but they are definitely still a rare sight in this part of the world. Funnily enough, I'm in your city this week for work!

Re: seat comfort
I test drove the F Type with the normal sports seats and could not stand them. I found them supremely uncomfortable. My F Type S has the performance seats and they are just what the doctor ordered. I'm 6'3" and 280+ lbs. I find they are just firm enough and give me good support (no painful bits...

Re: Is the F-Type a great racer?
Well, considering you can only go 100kph in New Zealand (and they police speed like no other thing here...), and the roads are generally crap... not doing too much racing in my cat. That said, lots of twisty roads going through canyons and mountain gorges where you get the exhaust echo off the rock ...

Re: Wheel inspiration
I'm just a little biased, but I love these wheels... unique out here in NZ (have yet to see another F Type with them).

Re: New member - Late 2017 F-Type
Welcome! Pics please :) I do engage dynamic whilst driving out of town (brings the driving experience up a few notches). However, I tend to keep it sedate while in town. Throwing it into sport mode is about all I need if on the drive home from work! But that is just me. Any options around tire optio...
