Re: Stop Start Problem
Hello. Just had to send my F-Type in to get a minor electrical issue fixed. Got it back and the stop start system is no longer working. My theory is the technicians, for various reasons, might have deactivated it using this method (http://www.ftypeownersclub.co.uk/forum/how-to-permantley-disable-th...

Re: Topping up coolant?
The plastic coolant pipes under the super charger are sealed with an o ring, and as the pipes are just a push fit together (held down by one bolt) they rely on an interference fit between the o ring, the outside of the plastic coolant pipe and the aluminium hole in the engine. I suspect at certain ...

Re: Interior lights on settings?
I'm after a bit of a steer as to how to set the interior lights to come on with opening of the car. When I took delivery this is how they were set up, but something has happened recently that now means the interior lights and puddle lamps do not come on when engine is turned off or doors unlocked. ...

Pin diameter 10.5 mm. I fitted 2 rubber grommets (1 on each side) grommet width/thickness 6 mm and hole size 12.5 mm diameter about 4 years ago, worked perfect.

Re: Stuck centre air vents - advice please
Are you sure the air vents have "packed in". If the heating/ventilation was set in "AUTO", the centre vent rises and lowers automatically, as it only blows cold air through the centre vent when necessary ( when set in "AUTO"). To test, turn the "TEMP" control ...

Re: motion sensor de-activation
Sorry I am now confused I thought single locking didn't enable the tilt sensor which is the problem one on a north sea ferry. Just to clarify the handbook states to use the "single locking" mode for ferry trips as this enables some parts of the alarm system, but not the tilt sensor (and s...

Re: Centre air vents.
If you have "AUTO" selected (for heating/ ventilation) the centre vent will only open, when required, to cool down the cabin and therefore only blows cold air. If you want hot air to blow out of the centre vent, touch the "CLIMATE" section of" HOME SCREEN" and then touc...

Re: water bottle on F Type coupe 2015
There are 2 water tanks/ bottles 1 at the rear, the larger of the 2, which feeds the smaller bottle at the front when required. Access to the rear bottle is gained by removing rear bumper. Access to the front bottle is gained by removing drivers side front wheel and plastic inner wheel arch. Both ta...

@ catsandtrees
You're welcome. Looks a neat job. Did you manage to to do the job with spoiler just raised, or did you remove it.
@ scharlton
you're welcome. Hope the job goes ok.
