Re: What body kit is this?
Perfect, thanks for the info simpleR! I'd remove the front plate anyway so not too concerned about that :P Re having a hard life... argument to be had for it being a good thing, I think I'd trust something that's been driven hard and still working over something babied and may break the first time i...

What body kit is this?
I missed out on a 2014 R today- the car had non standard bumpers with some other bits on I really liked the look of, so trying to find out what they are exactly so I can try and get hold of a set for when I find a different car. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202301042942996?atmobcid=soc3 ...

Higher mileage cars, what to look for (and does anyone recognise this car?)
I had a V8R a few years ago, and unfortunately only got about 4 months of use out of it before the engine went bang... but it was a fun 4 months! https://i.postimg.cc/7Yp3PGz5/1912080337-1.jpg Against my better judgement thinking of getting another. Looking through Autotrader I came across one that ...

Re: Carbon ceramics: Brembo part number for calipers
Just a quick update. I heard back from the UK Pagid distributor, and they've said that the pad shape 8091 (front) and 8270 (rear) will fit in pad compound RSC1, 2, and 3. RSC1 is suitable for all carbon ceramic applications, whereas 2 and 3 are a more abrasive pad, but which one you use depends on t...

Re: V6S - any way to know if the car is fitted with Torque vectoring by braking and can be disabled?
I'm not sure I can answer you question, but on track with traction control completely disabled, I think that also disabled torque vectoring by braking (at least I didn't notice it interfering, whereas I have noticed with it enabled). I wouldn't like to say it's definitely disabled, but it did seem l...

Re: Engine woes.. anything sound familiar?
I had a similar issue. It was No 1 Catalytic converter failure. A grands worth of stuff ordered by Hatfield & fitted under warrantee. Perfect now. What I did notice though as well as the not sounding & pulling right. Everytime I slowed down after a hi rev stint the car smelled of what I can...

Re: Engine woes.. anything sound familiar?
I presume this has occurred after your track day? I personally don't know what you mean by different unless you have a video? I might suggest a dealer might have better diagnostic tools to help find the root cause. Good luck, keep us informed. Yes, so after about a total of roughly 1.5hrs on track....

Engine woes.. anything sound familiar?
I've got a 2014 R Coupe and have recently hit some hard to diagnose engine issues. I'm just wondering if the symptoms sounds familiar to anyone... Background: A couple of weeks ago a did a 150 mile or so motorway trip. Almost immediately I noticed the car sounded... Different. I can't say what, but ...

Re: Carbon ceramics: Brembo part number for calipers
That sounds interesting, and a lot better than the £8k for the OEM Brembo ones (I did find them for roughly £5k in the US, but you've got delivery, VAT/import fees on top so will probably end up being fairly close). The ones you've found for closer to £3k, it would be interesting to know if they're ...

Re: Carbon ceramics: Brembo part number for calipers
Also, not sure if this is worth a new thread, but when I've got the brakes hot it set an alarm off in the car and warned me the brakes were too hot. Any ideas what the sensor is measuring (is it an air temp sensor near the discs/pads, is it brake fluid temp, something else?). I'm wondering if it wou...
