Re: window auto-lowering problem
Went out to my car today to try out this fix, opened the doors and it's suddenly started working fine on its own again - typical! I have done the above anyway so will see if that stops the problem - thanks guys

window auto-lowering problem
Has anyone else has a similar experience to this? My 2013 Convertible windows aren't popping down automatically on door opening - the door opens without lowering the window ok, and when i close it it just knocks against the soft top roof and wont close. (I did it quite hard once as I didn't realise ...

Re: Winter frost problems
I did a gummi pfledge and it hasn't helped at all which was a bit disappointing. Is this a problem on the coupes as well as convertibles??? I've just put my car under cover and will probably just wait until it becomes more than 0 degrees again.... having said that I still managed to get the roof dow...

Re: Stone/ debris through sill!!,
Wow, god knows what did that! I have massive sympathies - I owned my last car for 6 years no problems at all, and then this summer in my F-Type I had a double cracked windscreen in the first month from a random high flying pebble, and then a huge allen key lodged in my rear tire in the 2nd month (po...

Re: Wanted F type v6 s
I’d love the V8, currently have it in my XKR and its a dream, but the funds won’t stretch there. Seen a couple this week in the region, I’m surprised they don’t all have heated seats. Is the exhaust button a must have? There’s one sitting in my price range but this and heated seats are missing, bot...

Is that naff 'R' colour badge on the dash from stock? Looks really gaudy. I had to laugh watching whoever was driving it in London shoot down the lane going left and then cut right... that cars probably been in more scrapes than Mr Bump

Re: Scratched windscreen by wiper blades
I just had a stone fly up and crack mine, fortunately I had wind screen cover so just the £95 excess. Autoglass replaced mine but its not a screen they hold in stock so they had to order from Pilkington's who manufacture for Jaguar Land Rover, this took about a week. Does this effect your overall i...

I waited until I was just past 30 to make the UK insurance affordable, I'd not had my licence long enough in my late 20's and just used the gap to save for a better spec.

Re: "New" V8 R owner -
I had an XK8 convertible at 26......which I used to park in the Consultants part of the hospital car park because no one questioned it when parked there! I work in hospital have done this once with my f-type :D A few weeks ago I parked next to one of the probably last beautiful XKR convertibles to ...
