Re: Poor Headlights

My only issue with the headlights is the ditzy auto-high beam assist. It will trigger is well lit areas and then can be really slow to react to oncoming traffic, compared to my C63.

Re: What do you dislike most about your F Type.

- Seat belts make a noise when engaged driving over uneven roads - Some of the internal fit & finish - Rear parcel shelf should have been retractable blind giving you the convenience of the full boot capacity without having to take the whole self out - Reversing camera is utter pony for a car made i...

Re: injectors

I probably do a bottle of Redex once a year with a full tank of V-Power/ Momentum 99 and then ensure I go for an italian tune up. No science to say it helps, or works, but I think the general consensus is that cars like the F-Type appreciate being used to the fullest of their operating window.

I'm considering getting mine done by BCS - out of curiosity, did they turn it around in a day?

Re: Wind noise coupe

Wind noise is pretty bad on mine at 60-80 mph - right behind my shoulder. Tuned it out/ turn the radio up these days - my Z4M coupe had wind noise as well, just can't remember if it was as bad/ noticeable. Drove the car down to the south of Bordeaux last year, it wasn't persistent or loud enough to ...

Re: Smart Top Module Update

Can these be fitted to coupes? Specifically interested in disabling ECO and retaining the last used driving mode.

Re: Auto High Beam function

I have it on as default, but find it dim witted compared to my old C36. It seems easily confused in well lit areas and slow to respond to oncoming traffic when there is a bend or curve. Mercedes and BMW systems are far superior, but I didn't buy the car for its "smart" headlights :)

Re: Campaign SSM74031 X152 Under body brace corrosion

This is utterly bonkers - not sure what JLR are thinking here. Going public on an issue then just sweeping it under the carpet after a couple of months and pretending it never happened. Another reason Jag will never get a seat at the grown up table with the three German's. Very silly.

Re: Build quality

Disappointing to say the least. I tend to find clips for things like the rear diffuser are loose and just not made that well. I has a bit of rubber weather trim come loose yesterday on the door too . Thankfully they are small things that you only notice if you have an eye for detail or are a p...
