I've had my car now for 5 years and the car is 9 years old - so I think I'm one of the few thats hung on to it for such a long period. Over here, people go through cars when they get "bored" after 1-2 years. I've had mine for 7 years and the car is 8 years old! So there's at least 2 of us...

Only one SIM is "visible" - in the centre armrest. The other (Jaguar) one is embedded in the TCU module, I believe. Jaguar needs one to do stuff with the car, the other is needed for user data connectivity that Jaguar doesn't expect to have to pay for. In some newer Jaguar models (e.g. i-P...

But people are buying the latest models, which are noticeably quieter. I guess they don't know what they're missing, so don't miss it. They're still great cars.

There's a SIM in the TCU module (I think) that handles Jaguar's connection to the car for InControl, Tracker, s/w updates, etc.. The user SIM sits in the centre cubby and is for owner use including additional satnav features, hotspot, etc. I'm not familiar with the newest models, but if they're like...
