Re: Momentary loss of power - ideas

You'd be better off finding a decent independent you can trust - they'll do a better job without the eye-watering labour rates!

SCM, On other forums, when selling, you may receive comments like "nice car, GLWS, price about right, or not, etc. Obviously not on this forum. NP. :-) I think the principle here (I'm willing to be corrected) is that business is business and deals shouldn't be interspersed with random comments...

Re: Jaguar Remote App Version Updates / Telemetry Issues

That's interesting - I'm on Android and still on 2.18.3 - I'll be wary of any updates that are offered. Not sure "design improvements" are always much of an improvement, and often make things look worse.

Re: Would you buy the F-type if it sounded like a "normal" sports car?

I've had my car now for 5 years and the car is 9 years old - so I think I'm one of the few thats hung on to it for such a long period. Over here, people go through cars when they get "bored" after 1-2 years. I've had mine for 7 years and the car is 8 years old! So there's at least 2 of us...

117 views in 24 hours, yet not one comment. This is a for sale and wanted section, what comments are you expecting? If you want a discussion about your car, this isn't the place for it. You'll get lots of views, even from those of us not looking to buy, because we're nosey and want to see what's ab...

Re: Brand-new car needs some answers

Only one SIM is "visible" - in the centre armrest. The other (Jaguar) one is embedded in the TCU module, I believe. Jaguar needs one to do stuff with the car, the other is needed for user data connectivity that Jaguar doesn't expect to have to pay for. In some newer Jaguar models (e.g. i-P...

The OP did say they seem to be working. Maybe a vacuum hose has dropped off?

Battery disconnect only has to be for a minute - much less chance of shutting the boot and not being able to open it again! :D

Re: Would you buy the F-type if it sounded like a "normal" sports car?

But people are buying the latest models, which are noticeably quieter. I guess they don't know what they're missing, so don't miss it. They're still great cars.
