Re: Removing Number Plate Tape

You need a Toffee wheel, (like a big soft light brown rubber wheel with centre spindle) bang it in a drill and bingo it will remove it easily, what the body shops use.

Re: sudden major coolant loss???

Put the car onto ramps today and removed undertrays to expose bottom of the radiator and hoses, there's plenty of coolant around that area ! (surprising how many leaves and crap there was as well) But unfortunately nothing obvious that was split or ruptured ,without refilling with water its impossib...

Re: sudden major coolant loss???

Had another look ,but alas cant see anything without removing undertray and shroud around radiator, sometimes you wish the bonnet didn't open forward! Decided to leave it for another day as it started to rain hard again!! As Lunar has said there doesn't seem to be any over the engine only in/on the ...

Re: sudden major coolant loss???

Thanks for replies, I'm hoping it's not the *Y* piece under the charger, there was no steam or anything (bear in mind it was hot engine at normal temp on gauge) i didn't notice till saw flow of coolant across the tarmac so I'm leaning towards something low down near bottom of radiator, I'll have ano...

Re: How to change rear differential oil V6S - Non electronic LSD

Changed the oil today, as previously said, bit tricky especially with just Rear End on car ramps, only got 1/2” drive extension which is more cumbersome than 3/8” ( did try my 1/4 drive but the 8mm hex bit fell out and is lost in the crossmember/ bracing somewhere! 😞) Oil was very black, but straine...

Re: How to change rear differential oil V6S - Non electronic LSD

Gareth. I've just ordered some of the same oil you used from Opie oils with a view to changing my diff oil at 6 years and 28K miles showing, as a preventative measure not because of a problem. Just wondered how yours is now you've used it more hopefully during the last few months since you changed i...

Re: Cold start noise

I have one of these SmartTop modules fitted and unless i'm missing something you will still get the Start Up Roar regardless of any settings as the valves require Vacuum to close them so till the engine is running they are open hence the Roar initially. What i'd like is some way BY CHOICE of keeping...
