Re: Trapped Injector

Well. I’m still waiting. Currently driving my mothers mini. Still no courtesy cars available.
My over all faith in the brand has gone. I don’t think I’ll be a Jaguar owner for long in 2020. Which is a shame as it’s been my dream car since it’s launch. I guess I achieved it at least.

Re: Trapped Injector

Apparently there is a “specialist” company coming to jaguar tomorrow To remove the injector. Hopefully this will do the trick and the problem will be solved.
Having searched for injector problems it appears I’m not alone, and not the first to have one stuck!

Trapped Injector

My F type had a cylinder 4 failure over 2 weeks ago. It’s been in the local jaguar dealership since then. It’s an injector failure. Unfortunately the injector is stuck within the cylinder and they are unable to remove it. They have tried various things (liquids etc) but to no avail. They are still t...

Re: What to look at and inspect

Look at the body panels and make sure they all align up. Especially the front panel matches the Bonnet and wheel arches. Mine was out. The garage has to reset. Jaguar said it was a common problem due to manufacture. Check the spacing is equal between each panel. Some have a tendency to be too wide a...

Engine/transmission amber light

Hi. Advice wanted please. My engine/transmission light came on yesterday. The car definitely didn’t feel normal yesterday afternoon. Almost as if it was missing a beat and seems to have lost power. The light has come on solid on the dash and occasionally flashes. It’s just got 30k miles on the clock...

Re: Automated start stop

Thanks.
Yes I push the 2 L/R mirror buttons nothing happens. So possibly not a feature.

Auto stop/start: centre button is orange when driving (same as my sports exhaust etc). So I assume is on?

Thanks for replies.

Next thing is folding wing mirrors?
Mine are electric. But won’t fold.

Not standard fit?

Automated start stop

Hi all I picked up my F type on Sunday. Panels aligned, winter tyres ordered. So far my only gripe is the automatic start/stop. The orange light is active and the head up display says on. The trouble is it hasn’t worked yet. Everything seems to be ok, battery, climate control, outside temp etc. Any ...
