Re: Longest Ever Wait?
Too many miles in the Mini does not mean a high mileage - it means I'd rather have done each mile in the F but had no choice as I regularly need more seats or luggage space. Scud is a keeper - I've had it 11 years from new. F fills the middle ground, but, good as it is, spent too long in the garage.

Re: Longest Ever Wait?
And so the wait was significantly longer than the ownership. After only 17 months and 5,111 miles my car is moving on to a non franchised dealer with collection next week. I have really enjoyed this car - it is perfect for me in many ways but was left in the garage too often due to the need for some...

Re: Service schedule and warranty
Booking my car in before lockdown has paid off as my car's first service was completed this morning as planned. I was fearful right up to yesterday that it would have been cancelled so am very relieved and happy.

Re: Recharging a flat battery using the Ctek mxs 5.0
I now have a fully charged battery when it was around 50% after around 2 weeks without use. I connected my crocodile clips to the terminals under the bonnet. The only issue was that I could not close the bonnet and could therefore not lock the car meaning I can't leave the conditioner attached for t...

Re: Recharging a flat battery using the Ctek mxs 5.0
Having just called my dealer I've been told that there is no-one who will talk to me as I am not NHS staff so can't progress there. I've retrieved my Handbook from my car and there is no section battery conditioning or trickle charging. There are sections on on Connecting Jump Leads, connecting a St...

Re: Recharging a flat battery using the Ctek mxs 5.0
Thanks for the warning and detailed explanation Tel. I'll not rush into anything until absolutely certain I'm doing it correctly. My Scud is plug and play and has been on a battery conditioner for nearly 11 years so I never thought it could be so complicated!

Re: Recharging a flat battery using the Ctek mxs 5.0
So, to be clear as I have a 2020MY P300, can I can ignore all the threads I've been reading over the last week or so and attach a battery conditioner directly to the +/- poles of the battery in the boot? Should be fine, if you’re using crocodile clips just be careful they can’t get dislodged if you...

If you're using clips that's probably okay, but if you're wiring in a Comfort Connector, it's p...

Re: Service schedule and warranty
Luckily I pre-emptied this situation and last week booked my car in for its first service for mid May. Clearly there is still a big risk as to whether it will be able to take place but I can do no more.
