Re: WANTED!!! F-Type Coupe
You are at the right place to get a cheaper car. As a matter of interest, my P300 is 11 months old and has done 880 miles. It's trade in value is £27,000. The same dealers offering me £27,000 are selling them on the forecourt at £45,000 plus. Although putting on the forecourt at £45k+ isn't actuall...

Re: Spoiler button seems temperamental
My coupe automatic operation never goes up at speedo 70 but at speedo 74 which dashcam speed shows as 70. I find the manual operation very erratic and have never quite worked it out but certainly when the car is staionary I have to hold it in to make it deploy all the way.

Re: Recharging a flat battery using the Ctek mxs 5.0
I have just done a weekly shop with my F type. The car hasnt been used since last Thursday. When I returned to the car after shopping, I got a warning Battery Low, Start Engine. I live in a block of flats have off road parking but no power points to charge the battery if it becomes dead. Is it advi...

Re: Recharging a flat battery using the Ctek mxs 5.0
This is the connection to my negative battery terminal. You can quite clearly see that the chassis wire (the fat black one) is connected directy to the battery. Whilst it's almost certainly true that the battery monitoring system is in fact always taking care of the battery, it really makes no diffe...

Re: Recharging a flat battery using the Ctek mxs 5.0
Jaguar don’t recommend connecting direct to the battery as it can upset the battery management system. If you connect it to the jump start points under the bonnet it might be able to recover the battery, but leave it to charge as long as you can. Running the engine to charge a flat battery can lead...

Re: Essential journeys !
My parents died a while ago and I have been trying to sell their house. The insurance on the empty house dictates that it is visited once a week to check for security and leaks etc. The house is about 10 miles from my home. Do you think I could drive my F-Type to their house at this time under lockd...

Re: Jaguar Neutered My Exhaust!
I have a P300 and it was always my intention to replace this with a V8 primarily for the exhaust sound but given that the EU and Jaguar have now calmed it down to a purr I may as well keep the 2 litre and save myself some money. I’m not sure how much of the exhaust sound I hear in the car comes from...
