Re: Alloys prone to chips?
YOu can't do much about it to be honest. I had the exact same problem in my porsche techno alloys which had a similar looks, black inserts and dimond cut face. You can't avoid it - you live with it as much as you can untill they need refurbished. what you can do for now is touch in the black insert ...

Re: F-Type Prices
My 7 month old P300 which I bought new has lost 17k according to their trade in figures. As it's on a PCP with a guaranteed residual I can expect it to only lose 5k more over the next 3 1/2 years. Think I better keep it then :) In fact it has lost 40% in 7 months. And just for fun, it has cost me £...

Re: F-Type Prices
This discussion is across various threads but I am the same as you the spread the dealers seem to have are some of the worse I have seen. I feel sorry for the people who purchased some of these cars 6 months ago and they have tanked 10k just on the retail side never mind getting a PX figure. Been lo...

Re: Dealer Margins - Used Vehicles
Traded in my Firesand orange 5.0 R awd last month dealer give me £40k car now for sale for £46K .... I think this goes to show that the prices you see on trade sites are not far off the truth. Looking at the usual suspects such as WBAC they give you a trade bid of 39-41k for a 16/17 plate R Vert. A...

Re: Time for a change
Good Luck with the sale. I have to say thats painful though, thats a huge hit for 1 year. especially seen as it wasn't new when you purchased it. Onwards and upwards , atleast you can say you owned one of the best F Types.

Re: Dealer Margins - Used Vehicles
I wonder if the unpredictable and volatile prices reflect the fact that an F-type is a pretty emotional purchase and so the dealers are often happy to wait for the buyer who just falls in love with the car and therefore will pay a premium? With other, more 'sensible' (or German) purchases, prices r...

Re: Dealer Margins - Used Vehicles
I feel your pain OP. This problem is made worse by the fact that prices seem to be all over the place for these cars. I have been looking at these cars on and off for the last year or so and I can't make no sense of the pricing. The only thing I do know is that the spreads are huge and prices drop a...
