Re: Service Rip off?

To be honest, sometimes a good relationship with a trusted garage is so important, and you may have fell foul to some less than perhaps perfectly honest procedures however you did agree to the work and prices? With cars and carpets there are always deals to be done. I had a quote from Jaguar online...

Re: Service Rip off?

yep, the worst part is that I actually never use my AC and nothing was probably wrong with it ... Re: Service Rip off?

yep, the worst part is that I actually never use my AC and nothing was probably wrong with it, but supposedly this came up during the MOT!

I am now just trying to figure out with they charged me normal rate despite the invoice stating 3+ price.

Service Rip off?

Ok just back from West Motor Jaguar Kingston, 6yr service completed, but I am bit suspicious: 1. Jaguar quotes £700.33 online (not sure incl or excl VAT, I think with VAT but I might be wrong), I was charged £883 (736.52 + VAT) Does anyone know if the Jaguar website prices are including or excluding...

Re: Official JLR dealer not taking part in 3+ service promotion?

I was surprised too because the JLR website let's you book a slot and confirms the price with them. Anyways, found a different garage, West Motor Companies Jaguar service, looks like a JLR authorised independent garage, seems to have good reviews online although fairly limited. They quoted me the 3+...

They responded yesterday, quoting me 200gbp more than what I clicked on the website - shouldn't listed ...

Re: 4 Wheel Alignment

Thanks all, I will email them and questions that. I did question it at the time, and been told that all is good, but should have been a bit more vocal. It wasn't really necessary, but just put 4 new tires on and since they were doing the service I thought I will also get them to check the geo. I use...

Re: People with wrapped cars...

i think it also depends on the type of wrap, think the gloss wrap are probably more prone to swirls my previous car was wrapped in 3m satin grey, and no issues there in terms of products to use for washing, if you are going to ceramic coat it, then i think you can treat it like "normal" pa...
