Service experience - not so great

Hi all, I took my 400 Sport into the local main dealer for its 3 year service, an MOT and an investigation into a squeaking noise yesterday morning before 9am. I received a phone call from the dealer around 4pm saying that they'd done the service but hadn't had time to perform the MOT or investigati...

Re: Scratch repair cost

Sorry for the late reply, what with one thing and another I've not been on here for a week or so. Thanks for your replies! The quote I've got doesn't actually specify how it would be fixed so I'd have to get back to them on that. I've also contacted ChipsAway and been quoted £198 (inc. VAT) which is...

Scratch repair cost

A few weeks ago I managed to scratch the rear nearside of my F Type whilst reversing into the garage (don't hate me!) I've sent the pictures to a local repair company and they've come back with a quote of £290 (incl. VAT). I've absolutely no idea of the cost of this kind of thing really, and due to ...

Re: Glass Scratch Drivers / Passenger

I've got this issue at the moment, rather bad scratches on the driver's window, less so on the passenger's. The dealer I bought it from (used, with 1 year warranty in September) are taking it in on 20th Feb to replace seals and glass both sides under warranty. I've been really impressed so far, as t...

Does anyone know what this is?

Hi all,

I've just been swapping my numberplates over on the F Type and found a strange metal square beneath the rear numberplate... Does this mean the government are listening to all my exhaust pops and crackles?

Thanks in advance :)

Re: Car ordered

Was that picture taken at the Tonbridge dealership? Looks familiar :)

... and if they've got a facelift in, might have to go have a nose around!

Re: InControl Touch Pro Version 19A Released

Well I haven't heard back from dealer but today I got an update on Topix for my car: OUTSTANDING CAMPAIGNS H251 - INCONTROL TOUCH PRO UPDATE Um.... maybe they have started something remotely..... chased them for an update anyway. This is also showing on Topix for my car (unsurprisingly, given it's ...

Re: What do you dislike most about your F Type.

You can switch "auto dip on reverse" off. When in reverse, set the required amount of "dip" required using the mirror controls and if you have the memory pack you can save the setting and it remembers it next time. HTH Thank you so much; I found the menu item to turn it off! It ...

Re: What do you dislike most about your F Type.

Having had my F Type for (nearly) a whole week I've managed to find one thing that irks me greatly: the auto dipping near side wing mirror. Whilst I appreciate a good auto-dip for reversing, I like to be able to adjust it and have it use that setting in future. The damn thing dips so far I'm looking...
