This was cured by using the Jaguar Land Rover-approved diagnostic tool with latest DVD and Calibration File to reprogram the existing transmission control module (otherwise known as a transmission control module reflash). Re: Smart Repair Recommendation

Just to update, Tan Likiliki from chipsaway came today and did a great repair, can’t see where it was. Happy again! Don’t know why some of my photos get rotated! Can’t fault it! If you have any more chips or scratches in the future, you’ve now got somewhere local to you who you can trust to do a go...

Re: What do you dislike most about your F Type.

The only thing I've found I dislike is the lack of gap between the performance seat and the central tunnel. Drop anything down there and it's lost forever. These tools have helped me to retrieve things I've dropped down the gap....... https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4020 https://...

Re: Brake pad dust

It’s great that you’ve seen a big improvement with the APECs. I know exactly what you mean about it being very irritating as I do spend time cleaning the wheels and calipers! Re: Brake pad dust

A quick update re the APEC pads. They are now nicely bedded in, no brake squeal, no brake fade and virtually NO brake dust! Very please with them overall... 😉 Good to hear this. Looking at the photo of your car it has black rims........they hide a lot of brake dust. The true test would be on silver...

Re: GAP Insurance

That's annoying but like you say it may help someone else. I'm not sure how much you paid for the ALA GAP Insurance policy but if it was a substantial amount it could be worth contacting them to ask if they can match the ALA 25% discount code (MSE25) offered by https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/car...
