Re: (Another) Leaking tailgate (sorry)
👍 Good to hear you’ve established the leak is coming from that white clip. Water can still get under the large ‘U’ shaped plastic/rubber guttering which is located below the tailgate and this is normal. I recently explained about it here https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=80838#p80838 and...

Re: Parking sensor sensitivity adjustment?
To elaborate further, the following information is taken from https://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/ (2018 Model Year).... “A warning tone is given, which increases in speed as the vehicle approaches the object. The tone becomes continuous when the object is within 500 mm of the vehicle.” and... “To adju...

Go onto https://www.ownerinfo.jaguar.com/ and input your car VIN or Model Year then scroll down to the 'Parking' section where it gives detailed information on using the parking aid, parking aid volume etc

Re: Carbon brake mounting pins
Thanks, I should have scrolled further down the Alibaba web page to see it! Wanted to check if they are the same length as the Jaguar OEM wheel guiding pins which by the sounds of it they are i.e. 15cm/150mm.... Frank, I have looked closely on mines, no ref can be seen. Length is circa 15cm. I’ve in...

Re: Boot Leak Via Deployable Spoiler Mounting Bracket
You haven’t identified my potential leak points 1 and 2 correctly. If you look at your 1st pic there’s a sticky tab which has detached at the underside top corner of the tailgate (near the roof) and there is one each side. The purpose of the tabs is to keep the plastic side channel and rubber seal u...

Re: Carbon brake mounting pins
Is that price from a Jaguar main dealer or stealer? If so, I'm not sure why it's almost double of what it is here in the UK? Try doing a Google search on part number T2R9918 and see what's available? The ebay link I posted earlier shows the guiding pin at just under £20 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2...

Re: Boot Leak Via Deployable Spoiler Mounting Bracket
Hi and welcome. Water could be entering the tailgate from a few different areas including: 1. The rubber seal at the underside top corners of the tailgate (near the roof). 2. The rubber seal at each side of the tailgate. 3. The two drain plugs under the deployable spoiler as explained here...https:/...
