Re: Variable capacity oil pump mode of operation
I got them from the numerous TOPIx documents that I have and most of them are for the 2015 F-TYPE (X152). Yes, I would imagine the bulk of the V6 repair manual that you’ve studied was compiled for the early variants with some additional information included later. Perhaps its been updated further si...

Re: Variable capacity oil pump mode of operation
As you say, Jaguar parts show two different oil pumps etc for the 3.0L V6 (from 15MY they have a ‘twin stage oil pump’) as shown here.... https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/parts/index/hierarchy/id/152.1063.2356/brand/jaguar/ On Pre 15MY (up to VIN K15251) the oil pump part number is C2Z28368....

Re: Battery
On my 2016 I had to have the OBD plugged in and the stop start system reset so it knew it had a new battery. It may learn after if you dont reset it but I'm not sure. I'd also strongly suggest buying a genuine battery. I know they're expensive but they last. When I asked my independent they said th...

Re: Rubber stops beneath deployable spoiler, part number?
Doesn't sound like your dealership is up to much! Fingers crossed they’ll have a Convertible there for you to compare the parts.
Hopefully you'll get what you need, even if it's off ebay etc!

Re: Rubber stops beneath deployable spoiler, part number?
Ah, I assumed the four bolts were fitted through the bezel and into the high mounted stop lamp as the bolt holes spacing on the Jaguar diagram I posted seemed to be the same. It does appear that the two existing rubber plugs you have should be in the centre holes of the bezel but not sure about the ...

Re: Cup holder list assembly diagram.
This may help?....https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/parts/index/hierarchy/id/152.1077.2440/brand/jaguar/ I've also attached the TOPIx document 'F-TYPE (X152) Floor Console - Removal and Installation' I haven’t yet lost anything in that void between the cup holder lid and armrest but if I did ...

Re: Rubber stops beneath deployable spoiler, part number?
I think I’ve sussed it out! The parts that you require are for the Convertible ‘High mounted stop lamp’ and not the rear deployable spoiler. The Jaguar part number is TZR7802 (item number 3 'Bolt and washer - high mounted stop lamp') as shown in this link.... https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com...

Re: Opening the boot
Delighted to confirm no battery connection necessary, car back up and running and all well except didn’t reboot satnav. Another question, is there a fuse you can remove to stop the warning pedestrian safety system not working until I get round to replacing sensor (s)? If so the actual fuse grateful...

Re: Opening the boot
As far as I’m aware, there’s no facility to open the boot with a key from behind the rear number plate and these threads seem to confirm it.... https://www.ftypeforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1253 https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f-type-x152-72/lost-keys-2014-f-type-how-do-i-get-into-trunk-259590/#p...

Re: Rubber stops beneath deployable spoiler, part number?
Hi, Great to hear your thoughts about the forum. Have a look at this....https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/parts/index/part/id/152.1075.2428.11355/brand/jaguar/ If it's the ‘rubber buffers’ that you require, they are indeed part number C2P23636 which are shown as item number 5 in the diagram (...
