Re: Jag Service Pack pricing vs main dealers pricing

that's what I thought, but the service plan prices are:

4th year £607
5th £238
6th £382
7th £238
8th £564

so, hence my question.

Re: Jag Service Pack pricing vs main dealers pricing

why is the 4th year service so much more expensive than other years?

And, I've got a quote on service plan (for 4th year about £100 less than dealer quote, but what is the 3+ service?

Re: European Road Trip Advice

A topical subject for us as we're planning such a trip next year, around Sept/Oct time. So far, travel across via Eurotunnel (I don't like sea voyages), drive down through mostly western France, across into Spain, Barcelona, then car ferry (oh dear, at least not many waves on the Med) to Majorca for...

Re: P300 Servicing

Thanks for responses. I suspect we'll be keeping this car for some time, so service history likely to be less important, at least that's been my experience in the past (admittedly not with a F Type). It just seems like a lot of money 'for old rope', and I have little confidence in my nearest dealer ...

P300 Servicing

My wife's 2021 model P300 will be due 4th year service next Feb/Mar. In preparation I've got dealer and a local independent quotes, around £700 from one (guess who!) and £500 from the other. I'm thinking of just doing it myself as there's' nothing complicated as far as I can see (oil and filter chan...

Re: Insurance Renewal

Any comparisons with insurance are almost meaningless as there are so many variables. But, I went for esure direct recently, premium of around £200.

Re: Puncture Repair Gel - Expiry?

Without any knowledge at all, I'd guess another year probably ok. Check prices, they vary quite a bit and of course make sure whenever you buy has the longest date, plenty of cheap ones for sale but almost expired.

Re: Well... I've done it

Or if it's like our car, when cold and frosty you can't open the doors and when you eventually do so they won't shut. Spoke to dealer about it last week but unless they can experience it won't do anything. Of course by the time you've driven to the dealer everything is ok ...
