Re: main screen and vent controls intermittent fault

Did you change the battery and did that solve the problem? Thing I would find strange is that the fault sometimes does not come up until an hour or so of driving by which time the battery should be fully charged. Also recently I have had the roof up and down a lot (good weather) which is a battery d...

Re: main screen and vent controls intermittent fault

Thanks for the replies chaps, and like one of you has said I do like these faults but more so when you have finally resolved them. A chap on the club forum has posted me a reply having had the same problem fixed under warranty - dodgy pc connection was his words?. So following up to see if I can fin...

Re: main screen and vent controls intermittent fault

For info, Found some useful info on the f-type x152 on cardiagn.com. This has lots of very detailed info on the f type and how to diagnose faults and take apart most things. So useful for a whole host of things on the f-type if you want detailed info
No wiring diagrams though

Re: V6 rear diffuser

how do you get the old diffuser off, i did try, found all the screws, but could not release it from the upper bumper . I believe it is clipped but did not want to apply too much force and risk snapping any of them and then how easy would it be to re-attach. Very difficult to see up underneath also a...

Re: Made to order car mats

I have used supremeautomats which are the same as diamond mats. I bought some for my GTR and they looked good so ordered some for my f-type. The boot liner (free with the mats) is not that good as it drops into the well (i dont have a cover for the well - if one exists). The mats are good, only prob...

Re: Ceramic coating advice?

I would really recommend it.If the car paint work is good you can do it yourself as i did i.e. no machine polishing needed. I used the ceramic coating supplied by Pyramid Car Care (Ry Combes). Ry was excellent and showed me the process which is relatively easy and it is all in the prep. The coating ...
