Re: R AWD Ceramic brakes

Really depends on how the car was driving in those 50k miles. If it's normal driving, then you should be fine on the disks. I'm not sure about the pads, and whether they've ever been changed or not.

Are they changing the brake fluid within that price as it should be due.
Yes, the fluids are being done as well.

Re: Service Time

Sounds reasonable to me. Mines booked in, early March, for service, MOT & spark plug replacement. Think it’s about £500.00 all in. I’ve two less cylinders 😄 My car is on 23k but will replace plugs anyway as precautionary maintenance. Been sat in there over six years. Are you going main dealer o...

That's my thinking as well.

Service Time

My Jaguar is nearly due it's 6th-year service.
2015 V8R. Been quoted £681. I was told it's the big one that requires spark plug change.
My car has done 26k miles and it was last serviced in 2019 at 22k miles.
Wondered what others think of the price?

Re: exhaust pop and burble

My V8R AWD had a software update that killed the pops and bangs.

I wondered if installing a new exhaust would return this, or would I need a tune to bring it back?

Who would you recommend in the UK to do this if I decide to go ahead with it? I heard VAP is good, but it's all US based.

Checked and everything is in Dynamic.

Software Update

Does anyone know anything about the software update that was applied to my car? After the update, it sounds like the sound of the exhaust has reduced a bit. No more pops and bang.

Re: No more pops and Bang

Got the dealer to send me more information on the software update that was done to my car.

I believe it was the Gateway Update that screwed up the noise.
