Re: F-Type attempted theft

Wrap up update: New window fitted by Autoglass - excellent service, they even came out the day prior to fitting to see about securing the window better than I had. Not feasible due to the lack of a door frame but a great gesture from them anyway. Faraday pouches sorted along with a Stoplock Pro Elit...

Re: F-Type attempted theft

re. wheel locks, I've got the Stoplock Pro. I used to have one of the full wheel face covers but found them quite cumbersome. The one I have now takes a couple of seconds to remove and stick in the passenger footwell before setting off. Yes, the full-face ones do provide additional security, but it...

Re: F-Type attempted theft

@Gibson Sorry to hear what those idiots have done! You’re very lucky that the police were at the scene so promptly after the car alarm sounding otherwise the criminals may have managed to make off with your car! As well as deterring them, did the police actually arrest them? If not, there may be ne...

Re: F-Type attempted theft

Thanks for the sympathies everyone - it was initially heartbreaking to see the damage but I'm surprising myself with how "OK" I've been about it since the initial shock. Nobody was hurt and so far it's just a pane of glass to be replaced... RE Faraday cages - my keys weren't in a pouch/cage but I've...

Re: F-Type attempted theft

Sad to say I'm joining the OP on this topic - I woke up to a note from the Police during the night. Car was broken into via driver's window. Speaking to neighbours whose dog woke them at the time it appears the alarm sounded followed by the police (2* squad cars) attending "within 20 seconds" and de...

High/Low Beam Stem Tension

Hi all,

Has anyone else found that the back/forth flick of the high beam stem is heavy?
Not a huge issue really but I do find it's a pain during spirited driving and has led to accidentally indicating whilst flipping between low and high

Re: F-Type headroom

I would also consider the seat choice as well since there may well be a couple of CM in going for performance over the standard... I'm 6'3" with a panoramic roof and performance seats, I'd imagine you'd be ok without the pano as I've driven with the blind closed with no issues. The reason I'd advise...
