Re: heres a question

Not sure about the screen sensor but a lot of folk coat their rubber seals with Gummi Pflege which is easy to use stops squeaks and protects seals. I believe it also contributes towards preventing freeze stick. Do a google or eBay - readily available.

I've used if for a few years now - good stuff.

Re: Trickle chargers

The do charge, (inc recondition when required) and then trickle. I've had a CTEK 5.0 for my RR for about 5 year now. I fixed it permanently in the corporate loft space and it worked well with the long CTEK extension lead and quick connectors. It has however now failed and took an AGM battery with it...

Yes - you slip a race (trolley) jack under for lift, just like jack stands.
Sorry but that is far too much effort.

Re: Most outrageously priced Accessory?

Without a shadow of doubt the most expensive accessory I have in every car I have ever owned is the person who keeps the passenger seat warm - she costs bloody fortune!

Re: Solved: Speed Sensor fault (Adaptive dynamics fault/ ABS Fault/ stability control etc)

Multiple faults are clearly very often voltage related rather than pure failures. My Range had adaptive dynamics fault once - common issue. Small cables coming out of the sensor cap on the top of the front turrent fray. Not sure if the F Type has the same issue but worth checking if just a singe AD ...

Re: Car Ramps

My Son and me went halves on these 2 years ago: Fantastic it of kit. 1m rise - say to use, very little obstruction underneath. Worth their weight in gold. If you are a keen DIY'er or have a number of cars in the family fleet (like we do) its worth the expense. https://strongmanlifts.co.uk/product/cl...
