Re: What have you done to your F Type today?
Gave the car another proper Italian tuneup on some local twisties this evening because it didn't get one for a while. Spent the other week down on the Riviera and did Route Napoleon and loads of other Alpine roads on the way home but had the better half in the passenger seat and boot chock full of l...

Re: What have you done to your F Type today?
Finally picked up my aluminium gear shift paddles from the garage ordered in January arrived about three weeks ago. Fitted them myself although those T20 torx screws were tight! IMG_1509.jpeg IMG_3671.jpeg Much better than the plastic ones, aren't they? That was some incredibly long delivery time.

Re: Door glass scratched.
I suspect no F-Type is entirely safe from this issue, even if the newer ones seem less affected. Did you get yours replaced? I clean the car twice a week, rarely roll the windows down so it's frustrating to see that it can still happen. It's not a massive deal as the two scratches are hard to see. ...

Re: My 'spare' F-Type
Got myself a few ones in different sizes over the years too. One has BRG paint that's very close to the real but the flaking looks crazy on closeups because the car is so small.

Re: Greetings from Denmark
Welcome! That F-Type will stand out. I often pass through or go to Denmark and it's crazy how few nice cars are on the roads, which also is rather unsurprising given your crazy car tax setup.

Re: Ice blue foot well lights?
I unfortunately never continued the search and just settled for the slightly too blue ones which I'm happy with. Let us know if you happen to find some with a better colour match. Anyway white is also a great option and does look so much better than the original bulbs.

Re: Nav map update taking ages to download
There could also be some issues on JLR's/HERE's side. That does sound excessive anyhow. Every time I downloaded those map updates in the past it took a few hours which also was really slow and clearly because of limited network capacity on JLR's/HERE's side. I'd try downloading on another device. O...

Re: Another V6 vs V8 question...
Thanks for the replies all, The P450 I had was AWD, I think thats what I'd like to stick with, never had RWD before and it seemed playful enough with AWD. Would like to drive it all year round, and while I was away had some torrential rain for one of the days, was glad to have that extra grip at th...
