Re: Jaguar introduces new logo for the brand

I got bored after 30 seconds. Style over substance.

Re: Jaguar introduces new logo for the brand

Oh dear. My F-Type can slowly become a classic and I'll just leave them to it.

I know car manufacturers are finding it harder and harder to differentiate themselves from each other but bloody hell thats bad. :D

A lot of money is being wee wee'd into a very large pot of wasted effort by the looks.

Re: Jaguar Specialist - Servicing Birmingham Area

I've used Northfield Garage for a few years now (Jag Independent). but stopped using them for servicing after they cocked up two services in a row. They are nice people but not the best run place.

I've yet to find a new place yet so i serviced mine myself this year.

Re: Low battery error.

Get a new Battery - I have a 2013 car with similar miles, it just needs replacing as its old. Mine did exactly the same as yours this year and then started being troublesome. It will be especially so over the winter, so replace.

Re: I hate driving in the UK

I have to say i agree. The standard of driving now is awful - people dont seem to give a sh** - young / old / male / female.

I'm a motorbiker too and it can be scary on the roads now - i'm tempted to buy an old land rover and just keep driving into people when they cut me up.

Re: 2013 V6 Convertible

I'd not judge it too harshly. Mine is a 2013 V6S Convertible thats been meticulously serviced, got all its belts, oils, filters changed at the right time. It even spent 7 years in France, had an export marker and is now back in the UK. As it was serviced by an indy, the service history on the jaguar...

Re: New battery

If it helps, mine was on a CTEK for 11 years and I've only just replaced the battery and that was because i thought it was about time, not because it failed.

Re: Gearbox Service

The hardest part of the job is getting the fill plug out as its tight, but as its the first thing you need to do, once you know it is loose and on its way out, the rest is fine. You get a new fill plug with the kit too. I used one of these - makes it easy - the only thing to bear in mind is not to p...
