Re: Spring Sale #2

FFS, I’ve been waiting for 14 months for the pedal covers to come from Rimmer Bros, any other Thursday I’d have seen this thread, but as it’s Easter I was out on the piss…………….still, I’ve been out on the piss so not that bad a night 🥴

Re: Service Cost

I think this may be the place Darren uses, mines due the 160k service next, which I think is a big big one, so will at least get a price from them

Re: Service Cost

Worth noting that Inchcape have their £385 service to schedule available again. I have always used this at Jaguar Derby (still not re-open) without issue (4th service with rear diff and brake fluid, 5th service with spark plugs, etc) but I have noted some people reporting trying to be charged more ...

Re: Which V8 F Type is best

I went from Tamora to V8S as I wanted to retain open top motoring and RWD, the Jag is a lot quicker than the Tam was in all gears, and now it’s had a bit of engine work faster than Cerb 4.5LW I owned before (obviously not really a LW). Re: How long do/did you keep yours

12 years of TVRs with £25k in upgrades/repairs, then an F Type V8 since Jan 22, no upgrades in that time until now…………..mod-stock exhaust tweak, Viezu pulley and re-map, Eibach wheel spacers all in the last month……….looks like the spending madness has started again!

Re: Exhaust valve replacement - Mod Stock review

Had my back box done by them last week, good guys working long days.

They called to my place in North Derbyshire on route to the NE, unfortunately I haven’t had a proper chance to use it yet, but am glad to read the previous positive comments as my initial thoughts were of slight disappointment.

Re: Wheel spacers

From the videos I’ve seen, there’s no trimming needed with the blade style wheels, any views on manufacturers??

Re: Wheel spacers

Now considering 15mm spacers - H&R, Eibach or another manufacturer?

Re: Wheel spacers

Considering a set of the 20mm spacers…………….apart from aesthetics, is there any noticeable improvement in the handling due to the wider track, I have a V8S with a bit of extra power so quite a pertinent question for me
