Re: Would you buy the F-type if it sounded like a "normal" sports car?
For me the look of the car was the main attraction to buying a F-Type.IMO its a beautiful looking car. The way it drives was the next reason for its appeal as in dynamic and sports mode it becomes quite a different car to being in standard mode where it is a comfortable cruiser. For long trips this o...

Re: Finally a nice weekend to get the wash kit out.
Both cars are looking good! Sad aren't we,as soon as the weather turns we are out working on them rather than driving!Mind you still find it satisfying detailing it myself although paint correction is a little beyond my skill set unfortunately. Proper spoilt mine this weekend. Annual service complet...

Re: Just Bought an SVR
I had the engine management light appear when I was last in France in June 23 and thought the same as you that maybe I had not put the filler cap on tighly enough. After 24 hours though the yellow light remained on so used RAC European cover to direct me to a local garage(think it was a Peugeot deale...

Re: Bought a car I thought I would never own.
Those wheels really do suit your car.I am sure you will continue to enjoy owning such a great looking vehicle and keep pinching yourself when you are admiring it's looks! Never drove a STI unfortunately which I am sure is a great drive.Had a couple of Subaru's in the past which handled like a roller...

Re: Still a great forum
Completely agree Lunar. Some really useful knowledge from members which I have used in the past along with some good humour makes this a great forum for those that are lucky enough to either own a F-Type or simply appreciate them.

Re: Drove a Jaguar XKR for the First Time !
They do call it a cheap man's Aston! It was a really clean example,so much so that the mechanic who worked on it for 4 years asked me to contact him if I ever wanted to sell it.When the time came to move on to an F-Type (the mechanic did tell me that I was making mistake as he did not rate the drive...

Re: Drove a Jaguar XKR for the First Time !
I really enjoyed my circa 5 years experience of owning a XKR and IMHO is still looks good today, despite its age. A pure cruiser it was great in a straight line and was very comfortable despite the interior becoming a bit dated.Push it round a corner in the cold or wet though and you soon learnt who ...
Batemans
Took the opportunity to give the car a decent run in the nice weather in the South East last Saturday by visiting Batemans National Trust property, home of Rudyard Kipling.Came across this lovely example in blue and wondered if they were on the forum? Jaguar certainly make "exceedingly good"...
