Re: Start/Stop button replacement.

Try the you tube link below. if it fails, type in - F Type replace start stop switch - and it should bring up a 4 minute video on how to pop open the trim and replace the switch. Looks really easy.

Re: North East meet over Alston Pass anyone?

We need to meet up & kick some tyres
I'm pretty well booked up this weekend though. Out this Saturday and at a show with 1,400 classics & moderns at Thirlestane Castle in Lauder (up the A68 just passed Jedburgh) on Sunday.

Re: Underbody Rust/Corrosion

This is my first post! So here goes:- I have been hearings stories and rumours of rust/corrosion problems on the underbody of the F type. And I have just read a very alarming article in the December Jaguar Enthusiasts Club magazine, with pictures showing severe corrosion. I think my best plan of ac...

Re: Battery Charging

Zyp - I doubt you would have a problem. Jaguar sell ctek battery conditioners (but with Jaguar branding at twice the price) as an accessory in their showrooms. You say it's hard wired as it should be and indeed Jaguar have a fitting procedure as part of their Topix guide so there can't be an issue i...

Re: Battery Charging

I have been using the ctek for years now. There is plenty of "give" in the rubber seal around the boot. There will be no damage to the cable.
Once fully charged it's normal for the green light to flash when connected and when disconnected from the charger.
