Probably a good idea to just change the batteries regularly. Mine suddenly decided it wouldn't lock (everything else was fine) after a bit more than 2 years.

Part number might be T4N26834. Best to phone a dealer parts department and get them to look it up as it's not clear from the diagrams I can find.
