Re: Bad Smell in Cabin
When using the Air con sanitiser bombs, put some plastic down and newspaper in the footwell, as they tend to spit a fair bit of liquid. In addition, protect the glove box lid from any splatter too. I had a car where the A/C was pretty musty, but two bombs cured it. The other thing to try, to begin w...

N874 and N888 (depending on MY) I think. Updates to the body control module. To prevent the car starting without keys being physically present or something. Might also have better key encryption too. Re: News - Forum changes, and your thoughts please!
I prefer the 'latest posts' arrangement, as it makes it very quick to notice and respond to new things, irrespective of the subject. Some other sites have the 'menu list of forums showing posts in order' and I find it bit of a faff to look at several categories in order to notice the new stuff (one ...

Re: News - Forum changes, and your thoughts please!
The page layout of this forum is nicely compressed and clear, particularly on a small phone screen. I can see the last eight posts, without scrolling, as we'll as how many replies have been made very easily. Navigating to the last reply is also very easy to select, even with big spuddy fingers. I'm ...

Re: New member, sad story, advice sought
The car you are looking at is OY18HFK and was originally a Jaguar fleet car, as it has an OY plate. It looks to have originally been on lease for 12 months and serviced on time before being offered for sale via the dealer network (could have been a management car). Service history is below, which ha...

Re: Where does this bit of trim go?
It looks a bit like the trim at the top of the door post (up above the seatbelt) that covers a screw near the roof liner. No

Re: Cost of 2nd Service? Is it worth getting a service plan?
You can buy/quote a service plan direct from the Jaguar.co.uk website, If you have the registration it will give you a quote straight away. Some dealers also sell their own service plans in addition to the Jaguar version, but these may tie you to that particular dealer group. The Jaguar version mean...

Re: Fuse 15 Query
I can't see how having the exhaust open would damage valves or the ECU. The dynamic setting and exhaust button in the early cars just opened/closed the exhaust on demand. I used to drive around, in my 2015 car, with the exhaust open the majority of the time, as most owners probably do. The feature w...

Re: What size wheels
That s good to know. I never knew that of the SVR and R575. Is that the same with a P450 AWD vs R575 AWD? The P450's have the 'standard' set up and rear axle. The rear wheel offset for these is ET38 compared to ET54 for the wider axle cars. The ET54 rear wheels will fit, but need spacers to push th...

Re: What size wheels
The simple answer is yes. All of the F type wheels are interchangeable, with three exceptions. The wheels from the SVR and R575 have a different offset, as the rear axle is wider on these cars. You can fit them but spacers are needed, to bring the wheels out, otherwise your car will look like a Hyme...
