Re: Heated steering wheel button
Thanks to everyone for your replies. My button is definitely not glowing orange, so a trip to the dealer it is! I had the round steering wheel replaced with a flat bottomed one by the dealer (since that it what I ordered) but it seems they haven't connected a wire or something (or a fuse?). It's sti...

Heated steering wheel button
I have a button located on my steering wheel to turn the s/wheel heating on but I can't feel it heating. There seems to be no indication, either, that the heating is on (via a warning light on the dash or elsewhere). I called the dealer for advice and they said the button should glow: it doesn't. So...

Average age of an F Type owner
I'm another old duffer who should know better than to buy an F Type at my age, I'm 69. Mind you I've also got a 1934 MG PA, a 1957 XK150FHC, a 1997 Ferrari F355GTS and a couple of almost sensible cars a Mini Cooper (BMW bloater) and an F Pace for 'er indoors. I say, "you're only old once". My kind o...

Average age of an F Type owner
I'm one of the senior brethren of this parish (agewise) and have just celebrated the 21st anniversary of my 50th birthday. I thoroughly enjoy my 2016 V6S coupe, which keeps my Gilbern Invader MkII and MB 300SL company. I drive a 30ft German motorhome all over Europe (when I am on that side of the At...

Front grill number plate
Looking at it logically, a vertically mounted number plate is nowt more than an air-brake.Hence the car may lose some top speed and use more fuel with increased drag!I think the law should give us a choice, After all, as said before, the old E-types NEVER had vertical number plates, nor did other ex...

The F looks best, unadorned, like these cars in the USA http://media.photobucket.com/user/autoinfozdotcom/media/Cars%20Photo%20Gallery/Jaguar%20F%20Type%20Car%202013/JaguarFTypeRedampSilverColor_zpse6a98e4d.jpg.html?filters[term:tunvagel]=Jaguar%20f%20type&filters =images&filters =videos&sort=1&o=5b...

Front grill number plate
I have considered replacing my front number plate, like the OP with an adhesive number plate It is, after all, just as our F-type's forebears, the E-Types, used to display theirs. Most, if not all E-Types, still do to this day. I know it doesn't comply with "the law" and I'm a renegade...which is wh...

We also do the Poole quay meet for Red convertibles....which is fine if yours is red...and convertible Bealieu is also a cracking meet with either the FTEC or the JEC. Alas, mine is neither red nor convertible (but my M-B 300SL is!)Will my British Racing Green V6S Coupé qualify to sit alongside the...
