Re: IRR F type replaced
Mick, would you go black? I recon a bright silver might be nice. Keep us up to date!

Re: IRR F type replaced
I agree, the colour was the reason I bought mine. I had other options but this is the one I really wanted. Mine was pre registered and then sat in a showroom for 5 months, during the first lockdown. I managed to get it at a decent "lockdown price", which was lucky given the high prices now...

Re: IRR F type replaced
Looks a lot like mine!!!! This is my third F Type. Had an IRR V6 and Firesand V6 previously. Did you buy your SVR from the Aston Martin dealership? I think I saw one for sale online.

Re: Nearly New SVR
Hi All, It's taken me a while to post a reply but I did indeed buy a F Type SVR. The car has almost every option, other than carbon brakes. I've had it since May and had the wheels powder coated gloss black last week. I know wheel colour is a very personal choice but I love the gloss black, particul...

Nearly New SVR
I currently own a V6S in Firesand, which I love. However, I'm considering a 4 month old, delivery mileage SVR. With the new facelifted R now out and COVID-19 impacting demand, what do you think a reasonable price for a 4mth old SVR would be? I'm thinking £75k-£80k but not sure! Should I wait and see...

Re: Cold Morning
GMoore, I have had the exact same issue with my Coupe for over a year. The dealer replaced the locking mechanism in February last year but as soon as winter arrived the issue started again. The dealer can't replicate the problem, which is incredibly frustrating. If your dealer solves the problem, pl...

Thanks Pricy, I will let you know if changing the locking mechanism makes any difference.
BTW, we have a near identical spec car! Perhaps the issue is related to the Firesand paint!!!! ;-)

Meant to say that Jaguar Assist advised me to rub silicon based spray on to the rubber seals. I've done this twice in the past two weeks but it hasn't solved my non-shutting door issue on a cold morning!

Cold Morning
Hi Pricy,My car has suffered the exact same problem but on the passenger side. Happens every time the temperature drops below zero. Have had Jaguar Assist out twice and taken to the dealer three times. The dealer plan to change the lock on my car this Saturday, although I'm not convinced its the loc...
