Re: Gearbox Service

Had mine done at MGA Derby in 2020. Car was six years old & just fancied getting all fluids done. I’ve attached a breakdown of costs & the gearbox service was £495.00 plus VAT. Few pictures of the work… IMG_0815.jpeg IMG_0816.jpeg IMG_0817.jpeg IMG_0818.jpeg IMG_5736.jpeg Appreciate a bit of...

Re: Side skirts...

Just had a set painted/fitted. Purchased from eBay in white & had them changed to piano gloss black! Usually a set available on there… IMG_0564.jpeg IMG-20240319-WA0010.jpeg IMG-20240319-WA0006.jpeg Did mull over white/black & decided black. Prefer the contrast & tie in with other gloss ...

Re: Finally bagged one !

Stunning car! Imagine as good as new 👌

S&T stock some great cars. Guess they source from direct private purchase? Those beauties don’t come from WBAC/auctions.

Enjoy 👍

Re: Sill door seal attachment

Have a search on YouTube. There an in-depth video of an owner fitting new laminated sill plates. He removes these seals, as part of the process. From what I remember there are a series of clips & the best method is to fit the clips to the seal before clipping seal back to the metal. UK owner wit...

Re: Finally a nice weekend to get the wash kit out.

Looking good F-Type99 👍 First wash of year this weekend too, out of three month winter hibernation. Fast approaching its 10th birthday. Had it serviced, new battery & MOT. Treated to new side skirts & had side sills & lower side panels repainted. IMG_0567.jpeg IMG_0564.jpeg IMG-20240319-...

Re: Anti-Gravity Lithium Battery

Yes the returns policy has closed. Purchased on 23rd. I will sell it, cheaply, through another channel along with the charger. I have an allocated pot to spend on my car/hobby each year. As glib as it sounds it just means an upgrade or preventative maintenance item deferred till next year. Still hur...

Re: Anti-Gravity Lithium Battery

Thank you RPSN for the info. I’ve spoken to both AG UK & Dan who looks after my car at Elite & Performance Jags. Paul at AG sounds a very decent bloke. He did own an F-Type himself but by his own admission, didn’t fit in it. I wish he did still own it as he said he’d have put a AG in it! Dan...

Re: Anti-Gravity Lithium Battery

Has anyone got any feedback from the long term on these? I've just put a new OEM battery in mine after it failed after 8 years of service. Considering the costs etc are they effective? I've not had great experiences with lithium ion battery packs as they don't seem to handle cold/hot fluctuations I...
