Re: New to forum
Should not be a problem as the rubber seal is very flexible & the cable will not be nipped.

Re: Nearly New SVR
Unless you can sell your own car privately you will not get a good deal if prices drop after lockdown as your trade in price will also drop. Any lower prices will be the benchmark & that impacts trade in values. The cost to change will probably remain the same. Good luck, let us know what happens.

Re: Unsolicited DVLA tax refund?
Also meant to add that, I'm still waiting on a million pounds as a reward that some kind African prince offered me if I sent him my bank account number so that he could deposit his fortune in it. He did say that my account would sit at zero for a couple of weeks before the money would be deposited a...

Re: Unsolicited DVLA tax refund?
I had one a couple of weeks ago. Obvious scam as mine has been on Sorn since last October, but could catch out someone who may never have sorn'd a car before. Always some B***** trying to make the most of a crisis. Never click a link, always take the long way to see if its true or not.

Re: New owner, few questions
Just a thought if you are only going for an outdoor cover. Place some large microfibre towels at any sharp spots & corners on the body. Should help if the cover starts rubbing. My favourite colour, as my Range Rover Sport is Barossa which is a deep metallic wine, similar to yours & had a BMW...

Re: New owner, few questions
Make sure its really tight. Add additional straps to minimise movement. Person near me fitted a generic cover to a car over the last few months. Amazing how much the wind got into it, so bad that its now shredding itself. Ok that was over the winter & a lot longer than you are proposing but just...

Re: New owner, few questions
Lovely colour. I would leave it uncovered. If your asking about a waterproof cover I take it the car will be left outside. Even the best cover will be moving about the bodywork when the wind get under it no matter how well it fits. If you are going down this road, consider an indoor cover then an ou...

Re: Scratch repair cost
Go to your local Chipsaway, preferably one with a unit rather than mobile. Will be a lot cheaper. Last time I used them it was about £80. Perfect job. They may also be able to save your plastic trim. Smart repairs nowadays are unbelievable
